We are dedicated to sustainable and innovative agriculture practices to produce high-quality, locally-grown products all year round. We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout our greenhouse facility. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all areas of the facility, including equipment, surfaces, and production areas, are properly cleaned and sanitized to meet food safety requirements. If you are someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and are passionate about supporting sustainable agriculture, we would love to hear from you ResponsibilitiesFollow sanitation procedures to clean and disinfect equipment, surfaces, and production areasEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and standards (SQF/HACCP)Handle and store cleaning chemicals properlyMonitor and maintain inventory of cleaning suppliesPerform routine inspections to identify sanitation issues and report them to the appropriate personnelAdhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as requiredAssist with other duties as assignedRequirementsPrior experience in a sanitation or janitorial role preferredKnowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulationsAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyAttention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanlinessPhysical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and liftingStrong communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamFlexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesBasic knowledge of using cleaning equipment and chemicals safelyAbility to work afternoon/evening shiftBenefitsCompetitive salary plus bonusesHealth Care PlanPaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Training & Development PandoLogic.
