RMC is hiring for a System Administrator who will provide System Administrator support to an RDT&E environment
The selected applicant will manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of windows workstations and servers and perform hardware and software installations
The selected applicant will:
• Support virtual and physical workstation and server configurations
• Perform general IT requirements, installation, configuration, maintenance, and security in a classified or unclassified network environment
• Provide Windows 10 workstation and Server 2019 administration
• Support the virtualization of Windows systems (VMWare ESXi)
• Provide ACAS/Nessus vulnerability and scanning support
• Support Active Directory
• Monitoring performance including monitoring disk space, utilization, capacity and availability
• Support ISSOs in implementing and supporting cyber security standards to include NIST and Risk Management Framework (RMF) C&A Standards
• Create and maintain user accounts and install hardware/software.
• Perform system backup and recovery.
• Administer network security measures
A master's degree and ten (10) years of experience in related infrastructure, operating systems, system administration work is required
Four (4) years of additional related work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE) and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in RDT&E environments
An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start
Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
