RMC is hiring for a System Administrator who will provide System Administrator support to an RDT&E environment.  The selected applicant will manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of windows workstations and servers and perform hardware and software installations.  The selected applicant will: 

Support virtual and physical workstation and server configurations

Perform general IT requirements, installation, configuration, maintenance, and security in a classified or unclassified network environment

Provide Windows 10 workstation and Server 2019 administration

Provide administration support to enterprise application servers such as SQL Server

Support the virtualization of Windows and Linux systems

Support the Administration of VMWare ESXi environment

Provide ACAS/Nessus vulnerability and scanning support

Support the maintenance and administration of Microsoft Active Directory

Monitoring performance including monitoring disk space, utilization, capacity and availability

Support ISSOs in implementing and supporting cyber security standards to include NIST and Risk Management Framework (RMF) C&A Standards and project reporting requirements

Create and maintain Active Directory user accounts, and install hardware/software

Perform system backup and recovery

Perform PKI maintenance for DoD systems

Administration of infrastructure including but not limited to: servers, zero clients, malware protection software, HBSS, syslog servers, databases, etc.

Requirements

A Master’s Degree and ten (10) years of experience in related infrastructure, operating systems, system administration work is required. Four (4) years of additional related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE) and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in RDT&E environments.

10 years Windows Server systems administration experience in a DoD Environment

VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) certification, preferable Desktop and Mobility

Linux systems administrator experience

Experience in Engineering, Systems Analysis, Information Assurance, Web Development, or Engineering Management to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems / Equipment Support, and Test and Evaluation.

Clearance Requirement:

An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start.  Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
