The position requires in-depth knowledge of the commodities, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.Position Overview:Develop, implement, and manage strategies for the procurement of capital expenditure items.Negotiate and execute contracts for capital expenditures.Monitor and report on performance metrics.Develop and manage a total cost of ownership model.Analyze financial data to optimize savings.Anchor cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders, including engineering, legal, finance, and operations.Key Responsibilities:Research and analyze market trends, suppliers, and new technologies.Conduct cost and supply market analysis.Implement cost reduction strategies.Conduct financial and operational analysis.Develop and maintain supplier relationships.Monitor and report on supplier performance.Proactively manage risk.Lead and facilitate negotiations.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.Solid understanding of capital expenditure processes and procedures.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Familiarity with video conferencing tools.Strong understanding of total cost of ownership and should-cost modeling.Proficient in ROI analysis.Ability to read and interpret engineering prints.Familiarity with technical equipment terminology.CPSM/CPSD/CPM certification requireBenefitsApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.Preferred SkillsMicrosoft OfficeVideo Conferencing ToolsTotal Cost of OwnershipShould-Cost modelingROI analysisEngineering printstechnical equipment terminologyCPSM/CPSD/C.P.M. certification(s).
