As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.GKE, Anthos and GDC networking area demand solid networking knowledge and understanding of how networking powers virtualized environments. The team evaluates various integration and OSS technologies, design and build final integrated solutions and productize it.You will cover the role of strategic contributor to architectural definition, evolution of Upper Networking features and capabilities for GDC-Hosted platform. You will be execution owner for programs and solutions for integrating GDC-Hosted platform w/ Upper Networking solutions, getting exposure to the flexibility and popularity of eBPF framework to enable fast-pacing development on top-notch networking features as well as the complex architecture of GDC-H platform involving nester cluster virtualization layers.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities Own and lead architectural planning, evolution and deliverables for Google Data Centers (GDC)-Hosted upper networking features and capabilities.Collaborate cross-functionally with Platform teams, GDC and Anthos Networking teams and adjacent area stakeholders.Plan for strategy, execution and deliverables on GDC-Hosted development efforts in the area of networking virtualization solutions.Lead design and development of network connectivity solution for hybrid/multi cloud, involving data plane and control plane elements.Lead design and development of network virtualization solutions for container/virtual machine workloads running on Kubernetes platforms.
