We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.VulcanForms Inc. seeks a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer for our Devens, MA location.Job PurposeAs the Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, the responsibilities will include securing supplies and parts for the production facility, reviewing engineering and manufacturing specifications, communicating material and manufacturing specifications to suppliers, and resolving quality issues. Additionally, this role will focus on customer complaint intake and analysis, supplier data trending, and supplier qualifications. Key AccountabilitiesRepresents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and VulcanForms Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.Drives supplier quality performance, including new product development and product quality improvement.Provides Quality interpretation of requirements. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company, Customer and regulatory requirements.Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.Maintains Supplier and Customer quality records.Supports suppliers in the execution and verification of effectiveness of supplier corrective actions.Acts as a lead auditor for onsite and remote audits to assess supplier qualification.Regularly participates or owns writing and updating QMS documentation.Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing readiness.Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances.Intakes customer complaints and assists in data collection.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years equivalent experience in a medical device or aerospace environment3+ years of experience in a quality job role2+ years of experience in a customer complaint analysis or investigative role1+ years of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective ActionExperience in an aerospace, medical device, or manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) within a Supplier Quality organizationExperience interfacing and presenting to senior and executive leadershipExperience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specificationsExperience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environmentExperience with regulatory requirementsExperience reviewing contracts, managing suppliers, and/or experience working with inventoryPreferred auditing accreditation to ASD9100 or ISO13485.BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance are available to you starting on your first day of employmentGenerous time off package, including vacation PTO, sick PTO, and 14 company-paid federal holidays401(k) with company match and stock optionsDepartmentProduction QualityEmployment TypeFull-Time ExemptMinimum ExperienceExperienced
