Position: Registered Nurse – Med-Surg/Tele

Location: Richland, WA

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night 4x12hr.

 

Summary

  • We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (Med Surg/Tele) to join our dynamic healthcare team.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • As a Registered Nurse (Med Surg/Tele), you will be responsible for managing and coordinating patient care on our medical-surgical and telemetry units, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.

Responsibilities


  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients' conditions.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, perform physical assessments, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to anticipate and respond to changes in patients' conditions and intervene as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures related to patient care and safety.

Education


  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Experience


  • Minimum of one year of experience in medical-surgical nursing; experience in telemetry/step-down units preferred.

Requirements


  • BLS
  • RN license (Compact or WA license)
