Scheduling and Patient Services Lead - Albany

Community Neuro Office

Monday - Friday

An ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, both independently and on a team. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday during normal business hours of 8:00AM-4:30PM.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

+ Work alongside the Practice Coordinator/Manager to facilitate coordination of both front (check in/out) and/or back office

+ Answer incoming phone calls and direct appropriately to team members

+ Interact with a diverse patient population

+ Utilize the electronic medical record to maintain patient records via scanning or registration

+ Schedule appointments, new or follow up visits (Check-In/Check-Out)

+ Coordinate patient referrals and prior authorization for additional diagnostic testing or procedures (as needed)

+ Schedule Surgical Procedures (applicable to Surgery Depts only)

Qualifications

+ High School Diploma/G.E.D. - required

+ Associate's Degree - preferred

+ 3-5 years office experience or three years of related experience in a medical practice - preferred

+ Experience using an electronic health record and Microsoft Office a plus.

+ Excellent customer service skills.

+ Ability to multi-task in a high patient volume unit.

+ Ability to learn and utilize resources.

+ Strong time management skills.

+ Ability to review information and draw appropriate conclusions.

+ Good judgement and ability to problem solve; escalate issues as needed.

+ Strong teamwork skills and work ethic.

Salary Range: $20.88/hr - $28.76/hr
