BUDGET ANALYST

LOCATIONS: Washington, DC; Indianapolis, Indiana MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Providing accurate, timely budget data and analysis to management.
• Applying appropriate budgetary rules, regulations, principles, and procedures to the execution of the organization's budget.
• Reviewing budget requests for accuracy and conformance with higher-level requirements.
• Consulting with management on budget requirements and priorities to ensure proper and timely allocation, obligation, and expenditure of funds, as authorized.
• Using Customs and Border Protection (CBP) financial management systems for analysis, reporting, and presentations for senior management.
• Validating obligations, expenditures, and reimbursable orders.
• Preparing and presenting executive-level correspondence, reports, and briefings pertaining to budgetary and financial information and trends
