We are seeking a compassionate and reliable In-Home Care Professional to join our team on a part-time basis, providing care and support to our client in Kearney, Nebraska. This position is ideal for someone looking to make a positive impact in someone’s life while working flexible morning hours. The successful candidate will assist with daily living activities and ensure the well-being of our client in the comfort of their home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the client with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious breakfasts, considering any dietary restrictions.
  • Provide medication reminders to ensure timely and accurate intake.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Offer companionship and engage in activities that stimulate mental and physical well-being.
  • Accompany the client to any scheduled appointments or outings, ensuring safety and companionship.
  • Monitor the client’s health and report any significant changes to the family or healthcare provider as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in in-home care or a similar role preferred.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring if needed.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Must pass a background check and provide professional references.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a nursing assistant or home health aide is a plus.
Compensation:
  • Competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Mileage reimbursement for any work-related travel.
