DescriptionSenior Risk Consultant – Property & CasualtyUSAProvides loss control support to Property & Casualty underwriters and customers in AXA XL’s Americas – Environmental unit.  DISCOVER  your opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include?Provides underwriting and loss control support for assigned US-based accounts with focus on environmental, health and safety contractors and consultants, including waste management and transportation companies.Conducts property & casualty risk assessments (in-person and via telephone), site assessments, risk management studies, provides consulting services/training, and prepares reports.Provides project management of third party consultants providing same.Routinely interfaces with underwriters to provide technical support on new and renewal accounts including marketing/sales efforts as requestedDevelops working relationships with customer risk management, transportation, and safety personnelPrepares risk assessment survey reports with customer loss control recommendationsPrepares risk analysis and claims analysis documentsPrepares and reviews customer risk management, safety, and loss preventions programsPrepares technical risk bulletins, whitepapers, and articles as requestedDevelops new and innovative customer loss control and training servicesWorks with outside consultants and Ecosystem technology partners to facilitate customer servicesSupports manager in quality, efficiency, technical and special projects as requestedYou will report to Vice President – Risk Consulting, Environmental.QualificationsSHARE your talentWe’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:BS Engineering or Science discipline and 10 years insurance loss control related experience including 5 years performing multi-line loss control surveys/risk assessmentsMS Engineering or Science discipline with 8 years insurance loss control related experience including 5 years performing multi-line loss control surveys/risk assessmentsProfessional certifications desirable:  CIH, CSP, CHMM, ARMExperience performing environmental, health and safety audits and training desirableExperience with EHS consultants and industrial contractors desirableKnowledge of insurance coverages: General Liability, Commercial Auto, Property, Workers Compensation, Pollution, ProfessionalKnowledge of OSHA, USDOT, and USEPA statutes and regulationsKnowledge of industry standards such as NFPA, ASTM, ANSI, ISOKnowledge and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Microsoft Office knowledge – Word, Excel, PowerPointAbility to serve as a multi-disciplined account manager, suggest value-added loss prevention services for customers, and work independently and/or collaborate as neededFIND your futureAXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
