DescriptionRobert Half is looking for a Director of Finance to join a well-respected company. The director of finance must have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills in order to be a part of the management team. If you are an experienced VP/Director of Finance looking for a challenging role at an established company, this may be the role for you.Major responsibilities- Aid in developing department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget- Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions- Implement and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives- Comply with all budgetary reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance- Hire, train, and retain finance staff- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts- Manage the preparation of all financial reports- Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department- Work with department managers to develop five-year business plans- Direct, review, and prepare budget management and financial planning functions- Oversee insurance and risk management- Maintains and reviews budgeting and forecasting modelsThe salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 + bonus.Benefits:Medical/Dental/Vision401k plan with 3% match21 days PTO9 paid holidaysRequirements- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting- Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills- Efficiency in a variety of accounting and financial reporting systems- High analytical and extremely detailed- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles- MBA or CPA is preferred- 10+ years of accounting and finance experienceJob typePerm
