Find your future with us.Job SummaryAs an On Orbit Program Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and managing Millennium’s on orbit fleet of high performance satellites. This role is responsible for maintaining multiple programs and bus configurations, from experimental LEO smallsats to operational MEO constellations and GEO vehicles. This position will take over responsibility for all customer and program activities following in orbit checkout and handover of the vehicles to the customer, and continue to work for the mission success of our customers. You may be managing space programs in missile warning and missile defense, communications, advanced space, or intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.This position's internal job code is Program Management Spec. Our team is currently hiring for level 5. ResponsibilitiesProgram manager for operational satellite systemsResponsible and accountable for on-time, on-budget deliveryWork closely with the Customer and Mission Operations Lead to determine tasking priority, scheduling, and maintenance activities, including staffing and engineering supportCoordinate across Millennium teams to support on-orbit anomaly investigations and contingency operationsCollaborate closely with the customer to ensure mission success, conduct regular status and schedule updates, and brief both Millennium and Customer leadershipWork to adapt and evolve our on orbit satellites to new uses and changing needs for the customer communityMinimum QualificationsThis position requires an active U.S. TS/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required. A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active. Bachelor's Degree in engineering or the physical sciences / computer science5 years experience in satellite operations2 years experience as a project manager or equivalent managing high-complexity systemsPreferred Qualifications7+ years experience in satellite operationsExperience managing large satellite fleetsExcellent leadership and inter-personal skillsPositive attitude and resiliencyExperience with rapid development projectsExperience working with US Government customersExcellent teamwork and communications skillsProven ability to deliver on-time, on-budgetMaster's Degree in engineering or similar technical fieldExperience with Intelligence Community and Department of Defense customer communities and project management practicesPlease note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only of what is reasonably expected to be paid for the position.
