Supervisory Transportation Systems Specialist with Security Clearance

Duties
• Review policies, procedures, regulations, and information system business processes.
• Validate Branch work on total Army deployment and redeployment requirements.
• Plan work such as establishing priorities and schedules.
• Work with the Army Enterprise to develop a future deployment information system
Requirements Conditions of Employment
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
• This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG)
A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing options and alternatives to deployment process modernization issues; providing guidance on the implementation of theater distribution and deployment automation systems; and utilizing automated systems to evaluate statistical data pertaining to fielding and deployment requirements
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12)

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted
