PRODUCTION SHOP PLANNER

Summary You will serve as a PRODUCTION SHOP PLANNER (SHIP FITTER) in the of Structural and fabrication shop within the production resources department PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF
Duties
• You will assure adequacy of job order estimates, specifications, sequencing and scheduling where specified for controlling job orders by revision as needed.
• You will arranges for or verify and expedite availibility of required material, assist trades, support tools and equipment, transportation and engineering services.
• You will prepare sketche or supplementary job routing or breakdown instructions.
• You will read blueprints, specifications and technical reference manuals.
• You will lead and assist trade operations and schedule dates if indicated for controlling jobs.
• You will recommend the need for new tools and Shop Store stocking of new items or increased quantities of stocked items based on current material problems
