Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant at Winston Psychiatry located in Dunwoody, GA. The role offers flexibility for some remote work. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant, you will be responsible for providing psychiatric care to patients, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals, conducting assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, and prescribing medications. You will also play a crucial role in developing treatment plans and providing ongoing support to patients.
Qualifications
- Active license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant
- Experience in psychiatric care and mental health evaluation
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications and their appropriate usage
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid CPR certification
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
**Compensation is based on experience and will be discussed during hiring process.
