WATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR LEADER with Security Clearance

Duties
• You will be responsible for the efficient operation and general maintenance of the water treat plant and area control center.
• You will plan, schedule, and organize the work of the water plant to assure quality, completeness timeliness, and productivity.
• You will evaluate the treated water quality.
• You will operate the complete primary water treatment facility and regulate inlet water control to meet daily demands.
• You will work with the general public and provide assistance for water quality concerns
Requirements Conditions of Employment

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required
A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test
You will be subject to random testing.
• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE: 1) Analyzing treated and untreated water with physical, chemical, and bacteriological methods; 2) Operating flash mixers, clarifiers, mixed media filters; 3) Assisting with the preparation of routine operation records and maintaining logs and worksheets; and 4) Operating water treatment facilities and regulating inlet water control to meet demands
