Grade: 117

Salary: $1,437 - $2,355 Biweekly (Dependent on Qualifications)

ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Non-rotating 40 hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

This position works closely with the storm water operations including repair/clean-up crews, assign crews to follow up on work orders, train and lead crew members; Act as manager by ensuring negotiated contracts are followed to design, specifications and construction; Coordinate with consultants, contracts and engineers; Conduct daily inspection of projects; Establish utility design procedures by interpreting the application of design criteria; Check plans and specifications for accuracy; Prepare complex engineering calculations, assessments and reports; Assist staff by preparing standard base maps, providing detailed information to GIS staff and preparing plans to show existing and proposed developments; Keep accurate daily records of employee time and vehicle accident reports; May be asked to perform additional duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Position requires High School Diploma/GED with minimum of four (4) years of experience. Lead experience is also required. A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered. A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.
