Technical Program Manager, Environmental and Energy Management Systems

You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the environmental and energy management systems across the Google Data Centers (GDCs) teams in the region in compliance with the regulatory requirements.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities Establish, implement, promote and maintain a conforming environmental and energy management system (EEMS) aligned to relevant ISO standards, including procedures and associated knowledge database encompassing all GDC operating modelsManage conformance, certification, and associated continual improvements against the relevant standards (i.e. ISO 14001; ISO 50001, Energy Star, etc.) by engaging with the relevant stakeholders.Identify and evaluate data center environmental and energy risks for impact to the business. Design/lead programs to mitigate those risks.Support Data Center Operations and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure EEMS compliance and support with regulatory submissions, where applicable.Develop appropriate communications and training/awareness for employees and contractors whose work have impact on the EEMS at the data centers.
