Overview:

Provides direct and indirect patient care services to outpatient pre- and post-surgery patients and pre-admission testing. Meets psychological, physical and general aspects of care; utilizes the nursing process in planning care. Provides communication and education needs of patient and family. Provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Communicates in a professional, positive, and assertive manner congruent with Mercy Service Standards. Communicates with physicians and other team members about changes in patients' condition.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Prefers RN experience
  • Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
  • Preferred Education: BSN
  • License: current RN license in our state
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
