Position responsibilities are focused on analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating technology issues, setup and maintenance of PC hardware and software platforms, maintaining LAN networks, providing technical assistance to system users, and assisting with other IT related activities, projects, and audits. This position is also responsible for IT compliance with policies and procedures, local and corporate.

This is not a programming or cybersecurity position.

Position qualifications include:

  • Associate degree or two-year IT program, preferably IT networking or data technology fields
  • and/or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Deep knowledge of operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and written communication skills to provide technical information and assistance
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
  • Strong detailed-oriented and organizational skills and able to prioritize and manage
  • multiple demands-project management experience, a plus
  • Willing to work occasional overtime and weekends when required
  • Appropriate and effective interaction with employees at all levels within the organization
  • Reliable transportation for travel, including, but not limited to, to/from Blairsville facility
