Agile CoachDescription -HP is looking for a highly capable Agile Coach to help drive an Agile transformation across our Print Software Platform organization.  It is an exciting time to be at HP as our services and solutions businesses are growing fast  The Print software organization has grown significantly, and we need to evolve the way we work to keep up.  This role will be a part of the Agile Coaching Office and will help to roll out the transformation to teams across a very large software organization, covering multiple geographies and technologies.The Agile Coach at HP will be on the ground at the team level to help implement our agile strategy and business agility roadmap. They will train and educate on agile principles, tools, and provide coaching for implementing the processes. The overall goal is to lead towards an organization-wide adoption of Agile mindsets, methodologies, and ways of working. The Agile Coach will collaborate with various cross-functional teams including software development, testing, program and product management, support, etc. to introduce new scaling practices and ways of working.  They will also coach teams towards a culture of continuous improvement to facilitate the delivery of valuable technology solutions rapidly, collaboratively, and reliably to the organization.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Technical Program Management Organization and Print Software Platform teams to assess current state while also defining, implementing, and operationalizing an agile roadmap and playbookCoach and mentor business units within the organization to adopt and grow agile mindsets, practices, and ways of working to deliver customer valueAssist in the development of training and leading workshops to educate individuals and teams on Agile principles, values, and practicesHelp teams create programs and product backlogs along with roadmapsDefine, implement, and track agile flow metrics in areas that drive value and indicate potential problems/risks. Assist teams with implementing solutions to remediate those problems as well as proactive solutionsHelp implement Portfolio Management and scale agility to enable product teams to effectively plan, manage dependencies and risks, while successfully delivering strategic goalsSupports Agile tool adoption and consistent utilization, to ensure that the process is driving the way the tool is utilizedEnsures a level of consistency across the teams and business units, where needed to ensure successful scaling and portfolio managementKnowledge & SkillsKnowledge and experience of lean-agile practices from serving as a team level coach, transformation office coach or lean-agile champion.Experience in agile frameworks such as SAFe, Kanban, Scrum.Experience in working at the team level to support large scale agile transformations from pilot through full-scale implementation.Lean mindset, agile coaching, and mentoring expertise to facilitate refinement, story mapping, development, and delivery best practices.Ability to facilitate discussion at the team and program levels of the organization to resolve conflicts.Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.Experience in Jira administration and workflows preferred.Understands software development processes and procedures, particularly in a cloud platform environmentPeople and Leadership SkillsPassionate about communication, group dynamics and coaching others.Strong collaboration and influencing skills; Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.Effectively navigates the team and program levels of the organization to influence the necessary culture shift to help the organization realize its goals.Ability to coach team members on overcoming organizational impediments.Brings the right questions and challenges people in their thinking.Deploys strong communication and problem-solving skills at all levels of the organization.Exhibits patience and resilience in the absence of clear signs of success and progression.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree preferred.5+ years technology experience, with at least 3+ years direct experience in Agile Transformation.3+ years working as an Agile coachHP offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Dental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurance Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $116,900 -- $170,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
