As a Christian non-profit, Prison Fellowship trains and inspires churches and communities-inside and outside of prison-to support the restoration of those affected by incarceration. We equip correctional leaders, volunteers, and incarcerated men and women to make prisons more rehabilitative places; we advocate for a more restorative criminal justice system; and we collaborate with churches and local service providers to support former prisoners, their families, and their communities.

What we are looking for:

A driven and mission-focused IT Product Managerto oversee the successful strategy, development, deployment, and management of custom software Prison Ministry-related products for Prison Fellowship. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and extensive experience in managing large-scale IT projects from concept through completion.

Expectations of this role:

  • Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and supportthe ministry through prayer and actions
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and create product requirement documents
  • Create product roadmaps and lead product strategy and priority
  • Create architecture, flow, and wireframe diagrams, as well as other system components
  • Guide the product engineering team in strategic, architectural, and technical design and implementation of Prison Ministry Systems
  • Develop and monitor timelines and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional product teams and key stakeholders throughout project lifecycle
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience leading software engineering teams in the successful development of complex IT systems
  • Understanding of software development, database modeling, technology stack, software libraries, web content management, data integration architecture and data warehousing platforms
  • Familiarity with LMS/SIS Ed-tech technology a plus
  • Familiarity with Salesforce a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative IT solutions
  • Advanced communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • This is a remote/work from home position in the US with a 5% travel component

Through an amazing awakening to new hope and life purpose available through Jesus, those who once broke the law are transformed and mobilized to serve their neighbors, replacing the cycle of crime with a cycle of renewal that restores entire communities.
