Gridiron IT is seeking an ISSO to support a federal program on a 100% remote basis.

Role Description:
Leads the implementation and delivery of Security Services projects, leveraging our global delivery capability (method, tools, training, assets).

Serves as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in regard to Authorization of information systems and all associated cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Lead overall authorization process, to include supporting cybersecurity policy, procedures, and processes
• Manage creation of ATO Packages for technology offerings
• Manage all Security Artifacts such as System Security Plans and Security Assessment Reports
• Lead system categorization and identify security objectives by applying appropriate information security Controls for Federal Information Systems
• Develop and delivery briefings to senior leadership on the progress or results of an information system undergoing the authorization process
• Coordinate with technology teams to drive compliance with Security Controls and requirements
• Develop test plans and assessment reports in support of system authorization
• Review and Interpret Network and Application Vulnerability and compliance scans
• Provide guidance to development of Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M)
• Propose and ensure systems are complaint within the proper Security policies (NIST 800, FedRAMP, FISMA, RMF etc.)
• Provide clarification on cyber security policies and regulations
• Coordinate with Information System Security Managers (ISSMs) and technology teams in support of account approvals
• Coordinate with technology and Identity Credentials & Access Management (ICAM) teams to review/monitor user authentication and management
• Coordinate with Security Engineering and technology teams to identify and document the system

Minimum Experience:
7 years of relevant A&A experience supporting one or more of the following Federal Security frameworks: FedRAMP, FISMA, RMF, DIACAP and NIST SP 800 series and NIST SP 800-53
Experience leading teams
Experience interacting with client leadership
US Citizen
DOD Secret Clearance
Certifications: CISSP, CISM
Bachelor's degree
