 Dianne’s Fine Desserts has been serving up inspiring, mouth-watering, and memorable desserts for over 40 years. They are a leading provider of premium frozen thaw-and-serve desserts to the food service and in-store retail industries. Dianne’s product line includes cheesecakes, layer cakes, pies and tarts, brownies/bars, and individual minis and specialty desserts.
What you will do as a Production Team Lead: 
  • Coordinate department activities within a production area to ensure department and company production is met in a timely manner
  • Maintain tracking of daily KPIs and communicate progress to the team 
  • Promptly communicate any potential outages or shortcomings to Supervisor
  • Support autonomous maintenance through use of CID and CL standards
  • Ensure all required departmental checks are performed
  • Ensure machine operator hand-off sheets are fully completed
  • Properly track and record downtime
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis and Investigations including Safety Incidents, Production Downtime, Food Safety/Quality, and Food Waste issues
  • Provide feedback for the creation of work procedures as they pertain to Safety, Quality, and Productivity
  • Complete daily production records and reports
  • Ensure the correct inventory of supplies is present for the required jobs to be performed
  • Participate in the GFSI/FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions
What you need to be a Production Team Lead:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of previous manufacturing-related experience, preferably in food production
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Somali (speaking/writing/reading)
  • Ability to operate and assemble production equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and self-motivation
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to work a flexible schedule
