Duties
• You will plan, coordinate installation, test, operate and trouble-shoot all hardware and software systems.
• You will provide technical support for classified and unclassified network and end-user microcomputer software and hardware.
• You will review Helpdesk requests, trouble tickets, and system logs for trend analysis.
• You will provide support and technical solutions for special projects as determined the supervisor in support of IT goals and future concepts of operations

You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
• This position requires occasional work after normal duty hours to install new technology or correct user and network failures.
• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position
You must obtain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR, level Full Performance within 12 months of appointment
Qualifications Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position
Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position
Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled.
Qualifying experience at the next lower grade would be demonstrated by:
(1) Administer information technology systems to ensure effective system operation.
(2) Ensure hardware meets system requirements in order to provide information technology capabilities.
(3) Implement, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and/or maintain network systems and associated activities
This position is within the Work Category-Professional at Work Level-Full Performance, Series 2210 and Grade GG-11
