The Pain Psychologist will administer standardized and non-standardized testing of cognitive and psychological functioning and will also carry out other assessment activities pertinent to determination of the patient s ability to benefit from pain management interventions. In addition, the individual serving in this role will carry out therapeutic interventions aiding in the regulation of the patient s pain experience, as well as participate in treatment planning and ongoing assessments.
