UnityPoint Health - Grinnell provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in east central Iowa. A private, nonprofit, non-tax supported medical center, UnityPoint Health - Grinnell Regional Medical Center is the largest hospital in Iowa between Des Moines and Iowa City and serves more than 47,000 residents in 6 counties.

Responsibilities

Role Overview:

* Work independently alongside two staff members to provide care to Walk-In Clinic and Occupational Medicine patients
* Clinic sees Occupational Medicine patients by appointment, and sees general walk-in/walk-in occupational medicine patients by arrival
* 13-15 shifts/month
* Clinic is open 6 days a week (closed on Sundays)
* M-F 8:00am - 7:00pm
* Saturday 8:00am - 2:00pm

* Avg. 25 patients/day

Qualifications

* NP or PA
* Board Eligible or Board Certified
* Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
* Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician's field of practice
* Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
