Physicians' Clinic of Iowa is one of the leading multi-specialty clinics in the State of Iowa. We are growing and expanding our services and are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA-C) for our Primary Care clinic.
The APP will triage, treat, and assess patient primary care needs for wellness care, acute and chronic conditions.
This Provider will provide services by performing the following duties:
Obtain and record assessment of each patient including but not limited to the patient’s chief complaint, a review of systems, the patient’s past medical history and the patient’s family history.
Performing and documenting a clinically appropriate physical examination of each patient.
Performing and ordering clinically appropriate procedures for each patient and documenting same.
Analyzing reports and findings of tests and clinical examinations in order to assess the medical condition of each patient, including formulating a diagnosis of the injury or illness and documenting same in conformity with applicable professional standards, third party payor requirements and PCI policies and procedures.
Completing medical record documentation and billing entries in a timely and appropriate fashion
Computer literacy, technical and clinical competency, and attention to detail are required.
