INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST with Security Clearance

Duties
• You will develop new policy or recommend changes to existing OED and NAVSEA policies, standards and procedures for managing strategic or tactical automation and Information Assurance (IA).
• You will anticipate, assess and minimize system vulnerabilities and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of automated systems, software and networks.
• You will oversee the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for all code projects.
• You will serve as the technical authority on code projects and programs.
• You will prepare and present briefings to senior management officials on complex operational and Cyber security related issues

Qualifications In addition to experience demonstrating the four competencies listed below, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and implementing cyber security or information technology policies and programs to minimize system vulnerabilities and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of automated systems, software, and networks

Collaborating in meetings and conference calls with cross-functional teams to execute a cyber-security project

IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: identifying or isolating IT security system problems and recommending solutions or correcting problems
Performing needs analyses to define opportunities for new or improved cyber-security business process solutions
