Sales Support

- Develops a strong knowledge base of Company's products, processes, and core competencies.
- Becomes the expert on customers' processes and requirements.
- Generates sales reports on a specified frequency or as needed.
- Sets up new items / pricing / descriptions in customer portals.
- Manages customer catalog in Plex ERP system.
- Provides troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, claims for shortages/damages, tracking of orders and relevant issues.
- Assists with customer meeting prep – research, Power Point decks, ordering samples and supplies, etc. Assists with setting up customer POG's (plan-o-grams) when applicable.
- Creates and updates SOPs around all activity, looking for efficiencies.
- Develops an aptitude for retail sales concepts.
- Coordinates customer requests cross functionally.
- Ensures safety standards are consistently followed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams) with an emphasis on Excel.
- Possesses strong written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle changing priorities, work on multiple projects simultaneously, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.
- Driven by curiosity, a thirst for knowledge and a fast learner.
- Detail oriented.
- Self-starter and motivated.
- Bachelor's degree; or 2-3 years of experience in customer support, sales, marketing, or other business-related functions; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- The ideal candidate is curious, goal-oriented, performs well in a team environment and has strong people skills. Ultimately, the candidate should be able to contribute to creating and maintaining good customer relationships and ensuring smooth sales team operations.
Compensation details: 20-25 Hourly Wage
