Job Description

Director-Clinical Services provides direction and supervision to the clinical services of the Kansas Out Of Home program.

$3,000 sign on bonus

Paid in (2) payment.

First payment of $1,500.00 paid upon hire

Second payment of $1,500.00 paid after the completion of 6 months.

  • Additional Projects as assigned
  • Supervision of direct reports and their program/responsibility processes
  • Evaluations of employee under direct supervision
  • Consults with KS Out Of Home offices regarding permanency goals and care for the clients utilizing a trauma informed lens
  • Clinical review and consultation for all Sibling Split Reviews
  • Oversights mental health on-call
  • Coordinates and develops partnerships with CMHCs, MCOs, KDADs, DCF, CDDO, PRTF, QRTP, Inpatient Hospitals, and other Behavioral Health providers to assure adequate services for OOH children and families
  • Provides direct input to processes and procedures for KS Out Of Home that impact assessment and delivery of best practice
  • Works to constantly improve service delivery to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Acts as a change agent and pursues continuous process improvement
  • Participate on grant writing teams as needed
  • Encourages continuous growth learning in others
  • Communicates effectively and continuously
  • Member of Clinical Services Leadership Team oversighting agency best practice
  • Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), rules, personnel policies and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms
  • Provides timely reporting, as requested
  • Participates in committees, coalitions, and initiatives as appropriate for advancing Saint Francis Ministries' goals and objectives
  • Adheres to the mission and philosophy of Saint Francis Ministries
  • Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.
  • Ensures clients' rights are protected
  • Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures
  • Maintain CEU's for BSRB Licensure
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Provide Clinical Supervision for staff on BSRB training plans, as requested

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited college or university
  • License to practice in State of Kansas at the independent practitioner level
  • Five years' experience at the clinical level with children, adolescents and families
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must pass a drug screen, KBI, MVR, and Child Abuse and Neglect Central Register Clearance check
  • Must have a valid KS driver's license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation
  • Lifting Requirement of 30 - 50 Pounds
  • Knowledge of therapy techniques, in individual, group and family
  • Mandated reporter
  • Trained in child/adolescent development
  • Must be conversant with the current DSM
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to solve problems and, able and willing to seek assistance when necessary
  • Ability to provide a high-level customer service to staff, clients and providers
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Independent discretion/decision making within the scope and responsibility of the position
