Product Manager, Digital Marketing Enablement

IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 14 million students worldwide, seeks a Product Manager for IXL’s digital marketing platform. In this role, you will design a data pipeline to supply our marketing teams with the data they need to drive multi-channel digital marketing initiatives that power our strategic business goals and operational needs.This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule in our San Mateo, CA office.#li-hybrid #LI-CC1WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGDevelop a strategic understanding of IXL’s digital marketing efforts and how they’re critical to our businessCollaborate with our digital marketing and email marketing teams to better reach and connect with current and prospective customersDig into our data - deeply understand what data is available and how it’s organized to enable impactful targeted and differentiated marketingDesign simple, elegant, and robust solutions that address business needs and align with broader business strategy; provide detailed written specifications for each solutionHelp define our approach to address issues and opportunities, focusing on effective integrations with other systems - creating new functionality and enhancing and scaling current functionalityDesign data stores and pipelines that optimize digital marketing performance and efficiency, and enable rapid experimentationWork with engineering to build and deploy a robust data pipeline that supports digital marketing operationsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORBachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM or a related field5+ years of experience in product managementExperience focused on multi-channel digital marketing enablement is preferred, with an emphasis on email marketingKnowledge of databases and SQLUnderstanding of data pipeline architecture and best practicesStrong communication skillsIndependent and highly motivated, with a resourceful, “figure-it-out” approachExtremely strong analytical skills - able to provide high quality, efficient, creative solutions to complex problemsCuriosity, open-mindedness, and an unfailingly positive attitudeOur pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000 to $180,000 + equity + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
