COMPENSATION:

Compensation for roles at THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California as set forth below.

Role Location: CALIFORNIA

Calculated Hourly Range for role EMT

State - California: $17.92 - $25.09 per hour plus $3.00 overnight differential

AVAILABLE SHIFTS AND HOURS

Shifts are Monday - Thursday 3:00p-11:30p. 4 Days, 32 hours.

Shifts are 8-hours, and are overtime eligible.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE EMT:

* Accurately obtain and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respirations and blood pressure.
* Use emergency skills and knowledge to assess a patient's cardiac and respiratory status or manage and respond to emergencies.
* Assist with the completion of patient biopsychosocial assessment, including assisting with admission and discharge of patients.
* Monitor physical and emotional well-being of patients and report unusual behavior or physical ailments to appropriate staff.
* Prepare and maintain records of progress and services performed.
* Give medications, following instructions from physicians, other prescribing medical professionals or where approved by state law or regulations for EMTs.
* Collaborate with other staff in working with the population of the facility to treat, rehabilitate and return patients to the community.
* Comply with organizational policies, procedures, performance improvement initiatives and maintain organizational and industry policies regarding confidentiality.
* Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALLING REQUIREMENTS:

* Education - High School Graduate or Equivalent

* Experience - Knowledge or experience working with clients who are chemically dependent preferred
* RADT_i, or EMT certification preferred
* Licenses - Current Driver's License
* Special Requirements - Knowledge of 12 Step Recovery
