Monitors the draw pipeline, delegates requests, and ensures that assigned staff are fulfilling requests in a timely and accurate manner. In coordination with Credit Operations management team, the Construction Draw Supervisor will help develop and document the Bank’s construction draw processes and will engage with vendors and key stakeholders to ensure the uninterrupted flow of related transactions. Essential Functions In coordination with management, the supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of assigned staff, including, but not limited to, scheduling, interviewing, hiring, training, assigning, and directing work, counseling, and performance reviews.Responsible for maximizing staff performance in relation to goals through regularly scheduled one-on-one coaching sessions and team meetings, providing real time feedback and creating plans to address performance deficiencies.Maintains in-depth knowledge of the Bank’s draw system and other credit operations systems/tools. Coordinates with system owners and credit department management on system-wide updates or other project implementations.Monitors construction draw pipeline for residential homebuilders and/or commercial construction loans. Assigns requests to staff, commensurate with skill and experience level.Provides guidance on transactions related to draw requests.Completes independent review on complex draw requests or those with unusual structure; engages with lending staff and borrower/borrower’s representatives on escalated inquiries. Will also be expected to perform duties of Construction Draw Specialists.Oversees quality control functions to ensure draws are being fulfilled in accordance to documented policies and procedures and all associated regulations. Assigns quality control tasks within the team and monitors for completion.Vets and recommends third party resources, such as inspectors and surveyors, to credit operations management when appropriate. Configures new vendor profiles and performs maintenance on existing vendor profiles within the draw system.Identifies discrepancies within the draw process and engages appropriate party to resolve. Communicates resolution to key stakeholders and direct reports. Monitors exceptions on draw requests and coordinates with lending staff and borrower to clear exceptions. Reports on outstanding exceptions.Collects and tracks data for departmental reporting; identifies trends and escalates to credit operations management.Reviews business procedures and provides process improvement recommendations; documents procedural changes/updates in manuals and ensures all staff are trained on any documented changesAdditional duties and responsibilities as needed. Job Requirements High School diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.  5 or more years of progressive experience in lending/loan administration with previous construction draw experience required. Commensurate experience in construction industry may be considered.Excellent understanding of commercial construction draws and associated transactions.Knowledge of construction disbursement servicing system a plus.Previous lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred.Ability to direct, lead, and motivate others in a team environment.Excellent PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets via Microsoft Office products as well as custom applications and systems.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Excellent analytical, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and produce error-free work in a deadline-driven environment.Must be self-motivated with strong attention to detail and accountability.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals in, or assigned to, the above position and are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required, and may be changed at the discretion of the Company.
