Details

* Department: Respiratory Therapy
* Schedule: Work schedules for interns revolve around the student's school schedule. Interns will regularly commit to 4-5 shifts per 2-week pay period. Changes in work schedule may be approved by schedule coordinators. Typical work days/ time include:

Mon-Fri: PM shift (2:30p-11p)

Wknd: Day shift (6:30a-3p) or PM shift
* Hospital: All Saints Hospital
* Location: Racine, WI

Responsibilities

Provide evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies consistent with student scope of practice.

* Administer medications and treatment based on patient outcomes, under appropriate supervision.
* Deliver and assess patient response to ordered therapy.
* Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition.
* Provide patient education for diseases, medications, and treatment.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

* BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

* High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.
