INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance

Summary You will serve as an Inventory Management Specialist in the Production Division, Public Works Department Little Creek of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC
Duties
• You will utilize Navy financial systems including CFMS/SABRS or ERP.
• You will apply expertise of all aspect of funds request, processing and management including private party.
• You will utilize funds tracking tools (IeFacman) and with MAXIMO.
• You will lead teams through difficult issues and/or creation and implementation of new process requiring significant change.
• You will perform physical inventories, physical location audits, wall-to-wall inventories and re-warehousing, also spot checks and cycle counts to determine accuracy of the inventory.
• You will resolve discrepancies with material orders and services received, arranges for rework, replacement, exchange, or return for credit of defective, damaged and/or incorrect material
Requirements Conditions of Employment

• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This is a Mission Essential position
You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• Must complete the following training courses within the prescribed timeframe: Fork Lift training, OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER), and Basic First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Forklift Operator License (certification) based on the particular lift trucks that operators use in the workplace is required.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds unassisted using proper lifting techniques and over 40 pounds with approved lifting devices, weight handling equipment or with assistance from other employees
Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing Navy financial systems including CFMS/SABRS or ERP; 2) Applying expertise of all aspect of funds request, processing and management including private party; 3) Utilizing funds tracking tools (IeFacman) and with MAXIMO; 4) Leading teams through difficult issues and/or creation and implementation of new process requiring significant change; 5) Performing physical inventories, physical location audits, wall-to-wall inventories and re-warehousing, also spot checks and cycle counts to determine accuracy of the inventory; 6) Resolving discrepancies with material orders and services received, arranges for rework, replacement, exchange, or return for credit of defective, damaged and/or incorrect material
