The Digital Modernization Sector of Leidos is seeking an experienced individual to serve as the Division Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) Senior Manager within the Defense/Intel Business Area Operation leading the 1901 Group portfolio. 1901 Group is a leading provider for managed IT services and cloud solutions in the private and public market, operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leidos. We’re looking for a dynamic leader who can work with program personnel/leadership, the 1901 Group customers, and Leidos senior leadership. This position will manage a staff of analysts supporting the 1901 portfolio and its Intercompany Work Orders (IWO) activities within Leidos. Primary responsibilities include financial reporting and enhancements, AOP planning, and program EAC reviews. This position requires a problem solver that can pull together knowledge from a broad range of subjects to produce thorough analyses of complex, challenging issues, and use those analyses to find solutions.This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days per week onsite support from our Reston HQ office. Selected candidate is expected to live within commuting distance to Reston - VAResponsibilities Include:Financial & Business Performance:Serve as advisor and strategic partner to the 1901 Group Division Manager and program team with regards to business planning, execution and achieving AOP targetsResponsible for preparation and driving Division’s AOP, quarterly forecasts, monthly operating reviews and all variance analysis. Lead development of list of risks and opportunitiesProvide leadership and direction to the Division’s financial operations, including accounting, expense control, financial planning, and operating cash flowLead collaboration with cross-functional teams including contracts, procurement, revenue accounting, technical accounting, AR, AP, program excellence, business development and capture managementLead and prepare team for the quarterly forecast status review (QFSR) and Estimate at Completes (EACs) with both Business Area and Sector financial management teamsIdentify and implement operational improvements, and ensure processes are in place to continually monitor cost and margin performance driversLead development of cost estimates and pricing used for on contract growthPeople Leadership:Be a strong supporter and champion of change management as the portfolio adopt and implement DigMod Sector’s strategic objectivesParticipate in building a culture that is team-oriented, committed to professional excellence and living the Leidos ValuesMentor and develop finance staff and direct training and development to ensure that all functional resources are in alignment with organizational needs as we grow and develop our financial analystsManage the team to ensure contractual compliance, cost management, budget development, and efficient cash flowRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of comprehensive Program Finance and Financial Planning & Analysis experience. Additional years of program finance and FP&A experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.At least 4 years of experience in team management and program management.Demonstrated knowledge of multiple contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrid contracts. Able to work and communicate on business cases, variance analysis, and evaluating cost benefit models; advise senior management on financial and strategic issuesStrong background and experience with commercial/gross margin business structureExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact credibly and diplomatically with all levels of management, and establish a solid working relationship with senior management and peersStrong analytical, organizational, and presentations skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a diverse portfolio of programsAble to think strategically, lead a geographically diverse team, and grasp a firm understanding of the business goals & priorities and what it takes to executeAbility to interact effectively with peer functional organizations (contracts, procurement, accounting, program excellence, business development, capture excellence)Ability to challenge the status quo, drive change, “roll up sleeves”, managing and performing in a fast-paced dynamic work environmentProblem-solving skills with the ability to create consensus-based support for strategic initiatives and processesUS citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.Preferred Qualifications:Understanding of Leidos policies, procedures, and business architectureExperience in managing balance sheet and cash application metricsExperience with Cost Point, Fusion, and Hyperion/project InsightOriginal Posting Date:2024-04-23While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
