DescriptionWe are in search of a Contracts Administrator for our operations in Richmond, Texas, 77407, United States. This role is central to our IT Supply Chain organization, requiring the successful candidate to negotiate IT/technology-related contracts. This is a contract-based opportunity, offering a chance to work within a dynamic and evolving telecom provider industry.Responsibilities:• Negotiate terms and conditions in agreements for Professional Services, software licenses, SaaS/XaaS, data licensing, hardware, telecom, SOWs, Order Forms, etc. with selected contractors and vendors.• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as technical leads and legal teams to ensure contracts align with project requirements and organizational policies.• Stay abreast of the latest developments in the energy technology industry regulations and procurement best practices to ensure effective negotiations and contract management.• Identify opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation in IT contracting.• Be responsible for negotiating both commercial and legal terms independently, leveraging a strong track record of successful negotiations and contract management.• Translate complex technical requirements into contractual terms.• Utilize contract lifecycle management software and tools proficiently.• Self-manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities and demands.• Exercise strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand and address complex technical requirements.• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Requirements• Demonstrated proficiency in managing contracts, including their preparation, review, and execution.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and vendors.• Proven experience in supervising teams and coordinating multiple tasks concurrently.• Familiarity with the 'About Time' software or similar project management tools.• In-depth understanding and application of procurement and contracting best practices.• Proficient in negotiation tactics and strategies, ensuring the best interest of the organization.• Knowledge of regulations relating to contract administration and compliance.• Experience in managing supply chain logistics and understanding its impact on contract administration.• Demonstrated ability to translate technical jargon into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.• Proficiency in using Computer Hardware and Telecom equipment.• Knowledge and experience in SaaS contracts and licensing agreements.• Familiarity with contract administration frameworks and their implementation.• Proven track record in process improvement within contract administration.• Willingness to work onsite as required.• Experience in managing relationships with vendors and ensuring adherence to agreed terms.• Ability to use interpersonal skills to influence decisions and manage conflicts.• Proficiency in using contract administration software and tools.Job typeTemp
