SECURITY OFFICER with Security Clearance

Duties
• You will be ultimately responsible to plan, organize, manage, direct, control, coordinate, and oversee all Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS and IMF) security programs.
• You will serve as principle advisor to the Shipyard Commander on security, intelligence, counter-intelligence and anti-terrorism/force protection.
• You will review progress, performance and evaluate achievements of all Security Division Branches and Departmental Security Programs.
• You will be responsible for the timely performance, quality and quantity of the work performed either directly or indirectly through subordinate supervisors.
• You will actively support and promote all aspects of the command's Equal Employment Opportunity Program and Affirmative Action Plan as directed by applicable laws and regulations.
• You will be the primary PSNS and IMF advisor for all industrial security related matters regarding facilities modifications affecting security and special zone/enclave establishment.
• You will be the primary voice concerning relationships with security organizations at the Echelon II, Regional and installation level.
• You will implement, initiate, and track formal investigations of all types, when warranted, to include Federal investigations, throughout the PSNS and IMF Area of Responsibility (AOR).
• You will have Tactical Control (TACON) of Marine Corps Security Force (MCSF) personnel specifically assigned as special mission support to the command
Requirements Conditions of Employment

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required
A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test
You will be subject to random testing.
• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g
fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals)
You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics
You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101
Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing oversight to multiple security programs (such as: Personnel Security, Industrial Security, Information Security/Operation Security, Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection, and Physical Security) to ensure compliance with security requirements
