Network Engineer with Security Clearance

JOB TITLE: NETWORK ENGINEER JOB LOCATION: AURORA, CO WAGE RANGE*: 60.00-64.00 PER HOUR JOB NUMBER: 14268765 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: U.S. citizenship and current DOD-Secret Security Clearance is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics and minimum of 6 years of related work experience. • Experience with Data Center LAN and WAN design, implementation, diagnostics, performance, and management Ability to understand system data flows internal and external to the overall system boundary. • Experience with Linux system administration / VMware Experience with configuring cloud networking in AWS, security groups. • Hands on experience scripting skills (i.e. PowerShell, Python, Ruby, bash, etc.) JOB DESCRIPTION Network Engineers to join our Engineering team. The qualified candidate will support the design, development, Integration, and maintenance of our modern infrastructure Network framework. The environments are a mix of physical and virtualized servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, providing the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large program producing a critical, strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard Network Engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have an engineering mindset, have the ability and willingness to troubleshoot complex network problems, seeking to understand virtualized design elements in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Network Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE Knowledge/experience with DoD Network Security • Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and IA hardening requirements and implementation Experience with managing virtual machines / virtual network infrastructure • Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps concepts • Experience with the Agile development lifecycle Experience with monitoring of virtualized network environments • Security Plus within 90 days.
