Proposal Development Manager

* Work closely with operational manager to assemble and lead proposal team. * Develop proposal outline/template/schedule/compliance/plan.
* Coordinate strategy, competitive assessment, theme development, messaging, etc. * Write, review, and edit proposal content in alignment with themes, strengths, and weaknesses.
* Design graphics to support messaging; work with proposal graphics staff.
* Assess draft proposal elements for compliance, technical accuracy, and themes.
* Coordinate with contracts/pricing teams to ensure alignment between technical and pricing solutions. * Manage color teams and color team recovery. * Oversee production for on-time delivery. * Maintain proposal content libraries. * Oversee post-proposal hot-washes and implement process improvement.
* This is a management position that requires working with our most senior company leaders, technical staff, and administrative professionals. * Personal and professional maturity are essential.

* Demonstrated experience in building and managing successful Federal Government or Department of Defense proposals, preferably for service offerings.
* Experience with Federal Government systems acquisition, financial management, and cost/schedule/earned value analysis efforts.
* Proficient writer with demonstrable experience using proper grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, spelling, etc. * Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
* Mature, action-oriented; composed, and works well under pressure.
* Ability to communicate with and work comfortably with high-level company executives.
* Bachelor's degree required.
* A Department of Defense security clearance is required for this position; U.S. Citizenship required. Education Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
