ELECTRICAL FIRE ALARM MECHANIC with Security Clearance

Summary You will serve as a ELECTRICAL FIRE ALARM MECHANIC in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. Duties * You will operate instruments or equipment (e.g., transistor tester, oscilloscope, logic compactor, laptop computer, digital and meter-type vom, alarm eppom programmers) for alarm systems and special purpose test sets. * You will maintain or modify functional subsystems integrated within fire protection alarm systems. * You will select and use tools to install and repair fire alarms or electronic systems, components, and devices. * You will perform functional tests on subsystems as part of a scheduled maintenance program. * You will perform overhaul, calibration, installation, modification, or alignment of sensor subsystems and logic subsystems.
