Location:: Rockville, MD (1-day Onsite, 4 days Remote)Duration: Long Term Job Description::Position Overview: We are seeking a 10+ years experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management office, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of technical projects, with a focus on .NET, Azure, SQL Server, and custom application implementations. This role requires strong project management skills, along with technical expertise in .NET development, Azure cloud services, and SQL Server database management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects from initiation to closure.Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against them.Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to ensure successful project execution.Manage project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.Facilitate effective collaboration and communication among project team members.Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies, with a focus on Agile principles.Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, including developers, engineers, and testers.Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in software development or IT services.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading Agile projects.Technical expertise in .NET development, Azure cloud services, and SQL Server database management.Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from initiation to closure.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.PMP, Agile, or other project management certifications preferred. Preferred Skills:Experience managing projects involving custom application implementations.Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.Experience working in a regulated industry, such as healthcare or finance.
