Senior Business Analyst (14+ Years Experience)

Contract- W2

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 14 years of experience in business analysis, demonstrating a deep understanding of business processes, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to drive business improvement initiatives and ensure the successful implementation of projects that align with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Analysis and Planning:

    • Lead the analysis and planning of complex business processes and systems.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose strategic solutions to enhance business performance.

  2. Stakeholder Management:

    • Engage with senior executives, department heads, and other key stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities.
    • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  3. Requirements Gathering and Documentation:

    • Conduct thorough requirements analysis, documenting detailed business and functional specifications.
    • Ensure requirements are clearly defined, complete, and understood by all stakeholders.

  4. Project Leadership and Management:

    • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
    • Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.

  5. Solution Design and Implementation:

    • Work with technical teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
    • Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of systems and applications.

  6. Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Perform detailed data analysis to support business decision-making.
    • Develop and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to stakeholders.

  7. Mentoring and Team Development:

    • Mentor and guide junior business analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Master s degree preferred.

  • Experience:

    • 14+ years of experience in business analysis, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale projects.
    • Extensive experience in strategic planning, process improvement, and project management.

  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN).
    • Advanced knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau).
    • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

  • Certifications:

    • Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are highly desirable.
