A week in the life of a Commercial Broadband Satellite Program SME,you will: * Provides deployment, logistics, system engineering, life cycle sustainment engineering, integration, and production support for Department of Defenses (DoD) and Navy qualified systems and subsystems to Government customers. * Also provide support for Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Army, Air Force and Department of Homeland Security customers and programs. * Provide operational coordination of fleet bandwidth between Naval Network Warfare Command (NETWARCOM) and satellite providers * Act as the primary technical point of contact to resolve issues with leased space and terrestrial services * Conduct audits of GFE assets installed at commercial teleports • Conduct annual inspections of commercial teleports to ensure they continually meet contract requirements * Review and resolve incidences associated with mission activations/operations Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States. The salary range for this position is $71,000 - $88,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
