We are currently seeking a highly skilled and security-cleared Active Directory Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in designing, implementing, and managing Active Directory infrastructures within secure environments that require Secret Clearance. Essential Qualifications: Clearance: Must possess an active Secret Clearance.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Active Directory engineering or related fields.
Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and administer secure Active Directory infrastructures.
Ensure system security through secure system access, monitoring, control, and routine security evaluations.
Utilize advanced knowledge of Windows Server environments to manage and maintain directory services.
Develop and implement Group Policy Objects (GPOs) according to best practices for securing systems and data.
Provide consultation and expert advice to management on strategic systems planning and security.
Lead and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Coordinate with IT security staff to ensure that the network and domain resources meet compliance and security standards.
Manage cross-domain integrations and trust operations in support of organizational IT architecture.
Troubleshoot complex issues involving Active Directory and related components, providing solutions that ensure minimal downtime.
Document processes, procedures, configurations, and audit logs in compliance with organizational and security requirements.
Desired Skills: Familiarity with cloud services and integrating Active Directory with cloud-based resources.
Experience with identity management solutions and Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies.
Proficient in disaster recovery planning and operations related to Active Directory services.
Ability to script in PowerShell to automate routine tasks, collect data, and report on system performance.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred. Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or other relevant certifications are a plus.
