As an Azure HCI Administrator, you will be responsible for the deployment, management, and support of hyper-converged infrastructure solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies. Your role will focus on ensuring the optimal performance, security, and scalability of Azure HCI systems to meet business needs and drive innovation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our cloud services.


Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure HCI environments, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery practices are in place.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze system issues and outages, and implement proactive solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to implement and maintain security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage storage solutions, virtual networks, and compute resources within the Azure HCI framework, optimizing resource utilization and cost.
  • Conduct routine system backups and restore operations, maintaining data integrity across multiple cloud environments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other IT team members and business units, enhancing their understanding and utilization of Azure HCI technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Azure HCI technology and recommend upgrades and changes to keep the infrastructure modern and responsive.
  • Document all technical procedures and user guides for internal IT staff and end-users.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in managing and supporting Azure HCI environments or other hyper-converged infrastructure technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Site Recovery, and Azure Monitor.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a dynamic environment.


Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in Microsoft Azure, such as the Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.
  • Experience in working with Dell EMC hardware and storage solutions.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and industry standards relevant to cloud and data security.


In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly range for this role is 90-100/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
