Overview We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Development Engineer to play a pivotal role in our Software Development Services team. The successful candidate will lead the conception, specification, design, programming, documentation, testing, and bug fixing of applications, frameworks, and software components. Additionally, the candidate will have expertise in implementing and optimizing CI/CD processes to automate build, test, and deployment phases, in alignment with DevOps principles. Responsibilities * Lead the conception, specification, design, and development of complex software solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and architect solutions that meet business objectives. * Implement and optimize CI/CD processes to automate build, test, and deployment phases, reducing manual intervention and accelerating time to market. * Drive the adoption of DevOps practices within the organization, promoting collaboration between development and operations teams. * Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and expertise to support their professional growth and development. * Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and advocate for their adoption to enhance our software development practices. * Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and technical recommendations. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred. * Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on conceiving, specifying, designing, programming, documenting, testing, and bug fixing. * Extensive experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including automation of build, test, and deployment phases. * Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar. * Strong understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget. * Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. * Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments is a plus. * Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is desirable. Target salary range: $102,000 - $180,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
