Responsibilities * Maintaining National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) System Program Office (SPO) Modeling and Simulation Baseline * Development and maintenance of new software tools and computer software documentation * Ensuring executability and interoperability of models, simulations, and software tools needed to perform studies and analyses for the SPO * Designing and editing satellite models and simulations to inform analyses and trade studies related to on-orbit operational scenarios * Simulating Space Domain Awareness (SDA) data of space objects that represent the sensor system's spatial, spectral, and other capabilities under representative conditions * Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and small team environment Qualifications Required * Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or science discipline * Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the field of computer modeling * Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required. US Citizenship required Desired * Graduate degree in an engineering or science discipline * Experience in developing system models using industry standard tools such as MATLAB, IDL, Satellite Tool Kit, and other software * Experience in agile software development and test including use of Jira, Confluence, and Git * NRO experience Target salary range: $102,000 - $180,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
